MOODBOARD: INSPIRED BY INDIA
Designer India Hicks’ breezy, British Colonial style has always been something of my dreams. Her Bahamian home is classic and cohesive with a laid-back, lived-in vibe that seems to have been pieced together over time with her most beloved items.
One piece that has always stuck out to me is the coral pink couch often pictured (see below). The anchor of her family’s living room, it gives a grounded pop of cheerful colour that says something about Hicks’ personal style: bold and a little bit adventurous, but totally grounded by the classic elements in which it is surrounded.
