MOODBOARD: BEACHIN' IT
Nearly all of my posts have been summer themed, so I figured, why not add yet another into the mix! With July almost upon us, full beach-mode will soon be employed.
My sister's latest obsession is the Turkish beach towel. She bought an absolutely beautiful blue and white striped one for my mother. It's the most lovely cotton, and is now casually tossed over an armchair in my parent's living room. Perfect for wrapping up in on a cool mid-summers evening.
A few weeks ago, my brother, sister and I went to Nature Spa Chance Harbour, on the rocky Bay of Fundy. We hopped from the wood-fired hot pool to the Nordic sauna to the cold spring and back again. Between each round, my sister would wrap her Turkish towel around shoulders. Also blue and white striped, it gave her an effortlessly cool and classic look.
A good, soft towel, like the Linum Home Textiles one as seen below, is key for a full day at the beach.
